Throughout her career, Gloria has been a stalwart of the private sector, contributing significantly to its growth and development across various organizations. She is also an accomplished entrepreneur with expertise in sales, advertising, and promotions within her sector.
Her dedication and capabilities were recognized when she was appointed Commissioner of the Benue State Independent Electoral Commission (BSIEC) by His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iornem Alia Ph.D., on March 28th, 2024. In BSIEC, she serves as the Commissioner overseeing Finance and is responsible for the administrative oversight of Oju, Obi, and Otukpo Local Government Areas.
Brief Biography
Hon. Gloria Clement is an Igede woman, who hails from Ogore Council Ward of Obi Local Government. She was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Amurukpa on the 9th of November, 1987.
She started her early education at Pam Private school Jos, where she obtained her first school leaving certificate. She got admission into Government Girls secondary school Ito, where she obtained her SSCE. In the quest for further education, she seeked admission into Benue state university and obtained a Bachelor degree in Psychology.
Gloria has been in the private sector all her life, contributing to the growth and development of the private sector, and building her capacities in different organisations. She’s also an entrepreneur with a penchant for sales, advertisement and promotions of different commodities in her space. She was appointed by the executive governor of Benue state, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iornem Alia Phd. to serve as a commissioner, Benue state independent electoral commission, on the 28th of March 2024, an appointment, she holds till now. In BSIEC she is the Commissioner in charge of Finance and oversees Oju, Obi and Otukpo LGAs of the state.
Mrs Gloria Clement is married, and blessed with a daughter.
As her hobbies, she loves to read books, dance and watch movies.
